About Dr. Holakouee

Dr. Farhang Holakouee has three Masters Degrees in
Economics, Psychology and Marriage, Family and Child Counseling and a
Ph.D. in Sociology and is a former professor of several universities.
Dr. Holakouee is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and the
founder of the Beverly Hills Center for Well-being.

Dr. Holakouee has educated Iranians around the world
regarding the importance of mental health and has helped mitigate the
stigma which had precluded open discussion of psychological and social
problems in the Iranian community.”

Since March 6, 2000, Dr. Holakouee has been hosting
“Mysteries and Needs”, a two-hour radio and TV program on Persian
radio and TV satellite stations.

Dr. Holakouee has used this platform to provide practical answers to
the specific psychological and social problems of more than 40,000 callers,
while educating the broader community on the latest findings in social
science research.
